Description | Arbidol Impurity A (CAS NO.-NA) IUPAC Name-6-Bromo-4-((dimethylamino)methyl)-5-hydroxy-1-methyl-2-(phenylsulfinylmethyl)-1H-indole-3-carbaldehyde. Arbidol is an indole derivative molecule made in Russia and is licensed for prophylaxis and treatment of influenza and other respiratory viral infections. It shows an inhibitory effect against many enveloped or not enveloped viruses. It is also used in hepatitis B and C, gastroenteritis, hemorrhagic fevers, or encephalitis. |
