| Description | Cinacalcet Impurity A (CAS No: 3886-70-2) or Naphthyl Ethylamine / Amine is a calcimimetic agent. It is a metabolite of Cinacalcet. Cinacalcet impedes serum calcium in kidney transplant patients with hypercalcemic hyperparathyroidism. Cinacalcet raises renal deletion of calcium and therefore betters hypercalcemia in kidney transplant recipients. The calcium lowering effect of cinacalcet in patients with hyperparathyroidism post kidney transplantation is due to elevated urinary calcium excretion. |
