Description | Clarithromycin EP Impurity N (CAS No: 144604-03-5) or (10E)-10,11-Didehydro-11-deoxy-6-O-methylerythromycin is an impurity of Clarithromycin. Clarithromycin is an acid-stable and orally taken macrolide antimicrobial drug and is structurally similar to erythromycin. It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and blocks an array of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms especially atypical pathogens and some anaerobes. |
