Description | Clobazam EP Impurity A (CAS No: 22316-55-8) or 7-chloro-5-phenyl-1,5-dihydro-3H-1,5-benzodiazepine-2,4-dione is an impurity of the anxiolytic drug, Clobazam. Clobazam is an antiepileptic drug and is evaluated for use in the cure of Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome in patients older than 2 years. Clobazam is also useful as adjunctive therapy for refractory epilepsy and to treat anxiety and some other epileptic syndromes. |
