Description | Diacerein EP Impurity F (CAS No.: 13928-72-8) or Heptaacetyl Aloin is a C-heteroside that is a huge polar hydrosoluble molecule and it is neither resorbed nor hydrolyzed in the upper GIT. After it is ingested, the whole amount is readily available in the colon and then it is hydrolyzed by the intestinal flora to secret the corresponding anthrone that causes the desired laxative effect. |
