Description | Dutasteride EP Impurity D or Dutasteride 17a-5-ene or N-[2,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-3-oxo-4-azaandrost-1,5-diene-17α-carboxamide. It is an oral synthetic 4-azasteroid and it is a potent selective inhibitor of type-1 and type-2 5-alpha reductase. It is used in the treatment of moderate to severe symptomatic BPH in men with an enlarged prostate. |
