Description | Enalapril Impurity 4 or L-Proline (CAS No.147-85-3) or (-)-2-Pyrrolidinecarboxylic Acid. Enalapril is a prodrug that is hydrolyzed after absorption to form the active angiotensin-converting enzyme Enalaprilat. It is administered orally. It decreases blood pressure by lowering peripheral resistance without increasing heart rate. It is well tolerated and safe. |
