Description | Methyl 6-Methylnicotinate or Etoricoxib Impurity E (CAS No: 5470-70-2) is used in the synthesis of 6-(2-Phenylethyl)nicotine that is a novel nicotinic cholinergic receptor ligand. It is also used as a starting material in the synthesis of Dimebon and of its Tetrathiomolybdate. Dimebon is a non-selective antihistamine that displays cognitive enhancing abilities and does not inhibit acetylcholinesterase activity. |
