Description | Metoprolol EP Impurity C or Metoprolol Related Compound C is an impurity present in metoprolol used extensively to treat chest pain, high blood pressure, hypertension, and angina and as prophylaxis following myocardial infarction. It has shown a fatality benefit over beta-blockers in acute myocardial infarction. |
